Firefighters For Christ...Sunday 27/5/07

Sunday 27th May Thriving Life Church hosted a group of 20 American Firefighters who were in Northern Ireland on their bi-annual trip.

The service was taken by the firefighters with Rick interviewing 3 guys and Captain John White talking about prayer. The congregration were truely blessed to hear what John and the other guys had to say.

Praise God that 3 people were saved at the service...

Over 90 people attended the service in the scout hall creating a great atmosphere where lots of fellowship took place.
Also, the portacabin creche kicked off this week with a number of children having fun with each other while minded by Melissa and Isobel (2 of our church members).

A new series starts next Sunday. More details will follow shortly!
we have a number of photos to add but unfortunately blogger is not allowing us to upload them at this stage. we will post them shortly.

Dedication

Last Sunday was our first dedication service as a church. Little Reuben Allen was dedicated to God.
It was a great service and everyone who attended enjoyed lunch and fellowship together afterwards.

...From my mother's womb you have been my God. Psalm 22: 9-10
